After about four solid weeks of rain, the sun has finally come out. The daytime temperatures are around 60 and mostly sunny. The leaves are turning and falling.
And, it's muddy.
I should say squishy. We have grass. But, I can't walk across the yard without sinking in with each step. It feels like walking on a coconut cake.. soft fluffy cake, covered in sticky icing and coated with coconut to make it a little less messy. :-)
Speaking of... coconut cake sounds good about now.

Today marks four years since I married my sweetheart. It's been a wonderful adventure!

After my sign language class today we're taking Lil Man to spend some time at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Hubs and I are headed to Dallas. We are going to a U2 concert this evening and spending the night in Dallas. It'll be a nice little getaway for our 4th wedding anniversary.:-)

Saying goodbye is never fun. But, the time always comes. It has to. Home calls, and when we get there, we're grateful. There is something good about home. :-)
